Opened in 2005, Black Dirt Studio is located in the heart of New York's black dirt region about 1 and 1/2 hours northwest of the city. A full function tracking and mixing facility, the studio was created as an affordable alternative for musicians looking to get outta town and lay down some tracks.

The studio is comprised of a tracking room and a drum room and runs ProTools HD1. The studio is run by Jason Meagher (member of the No Neck Blues Band, Coach Fingers, D Charles Speer, K Salvatore, Suntanama, etc) and specializes in improv, rock, jazz, folk, and any other style of music you can throw at him.

There are rooms for bands to crash and nothing but cows and trees to distract you from your music.

Black Dirt Records now available!
